The role of the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is essential in ensuring that People & Culture (P&C) strategies are effectively aligned with the overarching objectives of the organization across various business sectors. This position demands a comprehensive understanding of the business landscape, exceptional strategic insight, and outstanding interpersonal abilities. As a trusted consultant to senior management, front-line supervisors, and staff, the HRBP works in close collaboration with the P&C team to implement initiatives that are strategically aligned with both business and workforce planning objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a strategic collaborator to designated leadership teams within specific subsidiary operations, concentrating on the planning and execution of the human resource elements of the business strategy. This encompasses enhancing organizational capacity, improving capabilities, enriching employee experiences, and managing associated risks. Additionally, emphasize the development of personnel performance to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Address employee issues, disputes, and grievances promptly and equitably, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal standards.
  • Facilitate and conduct termination discussions for both field and office personnel.
  • Ensure that employee information is accurately maintained within the employee data management system.
  • Stay informed about labor regulations, laws, and industry best practices to guarantee compliance of HR policies and procedures.
  • Provide counsel to managers and employees on legal and ethical employment matters.
  • Aid in the implementation of compensation and benefits programs designed to attract, retain, and motivate talent.
  • Offer guidance to business leaders regarding pay decisions, promotions, and salary adjustments, ensuring alignment with market trends and internal equity.
  • Influence and support the development and execution of programs, processes, and services within the P&C team.
  • Collaborate with the Organizational Development team to establish a cohesive approach to employee development, talent assessments, succession planning, and internal mobility to meet current and future workforce needs.
  • Advocate for the execution of organizational development initiatives, including leadership training, succession planning, and employee training.
  • Assist the organization in identifying high-potential employees and help formulate development plans that align with organizational goals.
  • Support the implementation of performance management frameworks, including annual evaluations and ongoing feedback mechanisms.
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to evaluate recruitment needs concerning workforce planning strategies and collaborate with Talent Acquisition Specialists to implement relevant strategies.
  • Provide change management consulting to facilitate the successful implementation of organizational changes.
  • Utilize internal and external workforce trends to influence business decisions that align with the strategic plan.
  • Regularly gather feedback from stakeholders to ensure that planning, projects, services, and support provided are in line with the needs of the business area.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's or College degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Previous experience with annual compensation processes is advantageous.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to cultivate and sustain effective relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities.
  • Demonstrated capacity for strategic thinking and tactical execution.
  • Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
