Role Overview
As a Senior Vice President within Pembroke Communications, you will play a pivotal role within our account teams. This position entails executing comprehensive, integrated communication strategies and initiatives tailored to our clients' needs. Responsibilities may include corporate communications, investor relations strategies, executive branding campaigns, media engagement tactics, and crisis management. The ideal candidate will be a driven, innovative professional capable of thinking creatively and managing complex situations with confidence. You will be essential in ensuring our team delivers exceptional service and operates cohesively.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage client accounts and support initiatives across various locations.
- Prepare polished, client-ready written materials, including strategic plans, press releases, talking points, Q&As, briefing documents, and media materials; oversee messaging and coordinate program activities.
- Act as a dependable resource for senior team members, demonstrating adaptability and leadership.
- Participate in business development efforts, including proposal creation and pitch presentations.
- Assist with operational tasks in the office, including supporting marketing events and business development initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 5 to 10 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, media relations, or investor relations.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships effectively.
- Experience leading large teams, with a focus on mentoring junior staff.
- Strong organizational skills and a track record of executing complex projects.
- In-depth knowledge of the media landscape and experience building relationships with journalists.
- Background in crisis management or handling sensitive issues.
- Solid understanding of business operations and capital markets.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in delivering presentations using PowerPoint.
- Ability to navigate complex or ambiguous situations.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and media monitoring tools.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
