We are seeking a Laboratory Analyst with expertise in Metals ICPMS to enhance our vibrant team.

In the Trace Metals Department, the laboratory analyst will engage in a range of responsibilities, including instrument management, calibration, data evaluation, and quality assurance.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Operate analytical instruments according to established protocols
  • Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment
  • Organize and prioritize work tasks
  • Prepare necessary reagents, standards, and materials
  • Review and process analytical data
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Collaborate with Client Services personnel
  • Ensure adherence to quality control measures
  • Make informed technical decisions for intricate analyses
  • Comply with safety regulations
  • Deliver precise results within required timelines
  • Follow standard operating procedures and quality assurance/control standards
  • Utilize appropriate methods for analytical integrity
  • Observe all safety protocols
  • Perform additional tasks as required

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or Technical Diploma in Chemistry or a related discipline
  • 2-3 years of experience in an analytical laboratory setting
  • Prior experience in trace metals analysis is preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Capability to lift items weighing up to 20lbs
  • Ability to remain seated or standing for extended periods
  • Willingness to perform repetitive tasks throughout the work shift
