About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join our team at Biogate Laboratories. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing protocols for the expression, purification, and characterization of antibodies and proteins.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute experiments for multiple projects related to recombinant cell line expression and screening, working closely with our Supervisor to ensure project goals are met.
- Develop and optimize protocols for the expression, purification, and characterization of antibodies and/or other proteins, with a focus on large-scale production.
- Generate intellectual property and assist in writing patents, evaluating new technologies and their potential applications.
- Collaborate with our team to adhere to our company's Quality program requirements, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our research and development activities.
Requirements:
- PhD or MSc (or equivalent) with 1-4 years of direct experience working with antibodies and/or other recombinant proteins.
- Experience with different immunization methodologies, including native or engineered antigen over-expressing cells, cell membranes, DNA immunization, and MAP systems.
- Strong background in methods for generating and screening clonal cell lines expressing recombinant antibodies or other proteins.
- Proven ability in expression and purification of antibodies or other proteins, with experience in large-scale production being an asset.
- Skilled in protein characterization methods and able to work well in a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex scientific information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
