About the Role

BDO is seeking a skilled Proposal Specialist to join our Strategic Pursuit Centre (SPC) team. As a key member of our proposal team, you will play a critical role in supporting the pursuit process for strategic proposal responses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the entire pursuit process from proposal kick-off to final submission.
  • Provide high-quality deliverables and manage all aspects of the pursuit to mitigate potential risks.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders throughout the proposal process.
  • Review and analyze RFx responses, develop custom response templates, and manage end-to-end pursuit activities.
  • Ensure seamless communication with the firm's national sales office and sales teams.
  • Work to differentiate BDO's services, ensure compliance, and achieve high-scoring responses.
  • Support orals presentations and assist with debriefs for each win/loss.
  • Adhere to BDO's International Corporate Visual Identity Standards and National brand standards.
Requirements
  • University degree in communications, marketing, business, or related discipline.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in proposal coordination, development, and management.
  • Understanding of the proposal process in both private and public sector industries.
  • Excellent written, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workloads and manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
  • Process improvement mindset and experience with Project Management tools and concepts.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office applications.
