Position:
Vice President of Compliance Oversight

Organizational Structure:
This role reports directly to the Chief Compliance Officer.

Role Summary:

The Vice President of Compliance Oversight will spearhead GreenSky's compliance evaluation program, ensuring adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and internal protocols.

This position entails directing the formulation, execution, and management of thorough compliance evaluation strategies, while also providing strategic direction and support to the compliance team.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage GreenSky's compliance evaluation program, ensuring alignment with regulatory mandates and organizational policies.
  • Lead and mentor the compliance evaluation team, offering guidance, training, and opportunities for professional growth.
  • Design and implement compliance evaluation methodologies to assess the efficacy of internal controls.
  • Conduct in-depth risk assessments to pinpoint potential compliance vulnerabilities and risks.
  • Formulate and execute annual compliance evaluation plans, including the selection and prioritization of evaluation activities.
  • Analyze evaluation outcomes, identify patterns, and provide actionable insights to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including Legal, Risk Management, and Internal Audit, to ensure a unified approach to compliance.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on compliance evaluation results for executive leadership and regulatory authorities.
  • Stay informed about regulatory developments, industry best practices, and emerging compliance challenges.
  • Promote a culture of compliance and ethical conduct throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related discipline; a minimum of 10 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or internal audit within the financial services sector.

Demonstrated success in developing and managing compliance evaluation programs.

In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to the financial technology sector.

Proficiency in compliance evaluation software and tools such as RSA Archer, MetricStream, SAP GRC, or similar platforms.

Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities with a strong attention to detail.
