Role Overview:

The Finance and Procurement Manager will be instrumental in managing the hospital's financial functions, which encompass budgeting, financial forecasting, and procurement processes. This role reports directly to the Vice President of Corporate Services and necessitates a robust foundation in finance and accounting, along with experience in the healthcare sector.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting or a related field
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA) or in the process of obtaining certification
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in finance and accounting roles
  • Familiarity with financial software and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Experience in a unionized workplace is advantageous

  • Oversee financial systems and ensure internal controls are effective
  • Maintain compliance with relevant regulatory bodies
