- As a Procurement Support Analyst Intern, you will collaborate with a team of public health professionals committed to enhancing the health of Georgian residents in various capacities.
- Under general supervision, assist the assigned manager in coordinating procurement and contract services.
- Manage end-to-end supply chain processes, including competitive bidding, contract oversight, supplier performance evaluation, and lifecycle contracting.

Contract Management:
- Develop, implement, and oversee contracts and service level agreements for the acquisition of goods and services, including the creation and review of Contract Action Requests (CAR) and requisitions, Contract Shells, Amendments, Renewals, Extensions, and Terminations.


- Analyze non-contracted purchases to uncover opportunities for standardization, contracting, and cost efficiency.
- Regularly report departmental metrics as requested by the Procurement and Contracting Director.

Technical Guidance:
- Provide technical support in preparing contract proposals to ensure alignment with established policies and procedures.


- Develop pricing agreements and contracts to secure maximum value for the agency.
- Assist in the orientation, training, and guidance of junior team members.

Qualifications:
- An associate degree in communication, English, or public relations from an accredited institution, along with three (3) years of relevant experience; or one (1) year of experience at the lower level Busi Support Analyst 2 (GSP131).

Preferred Skills:
- A minimum of 5 years of procurement and contracting experience within the public sector.
- At least 2 years of experience with PeopleSoft Financials software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint.

An equivalent combination of knowledge, education, job or intern experience, training, or certifications that provides the necessary skills to perform the job effectively may be considered.
