Role Overview:

The Finance and Procurement Manager will be instrumental in managing the hospital's financial functions, which encompass budgeting, financial forecasting, and procurement processes. This role reports directly to the Vice President of Corporate Services and requires a robust background in finance and accounting, particularly within a healthcare environment.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting or a related field
  • Professional accounting certification (CPA) or in progress
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in finance and accounting roles
  • Familiarity with financial management software and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Experience in a unionized workplace is advantageous
