Position: Senior Vice President, Regulatory Oversight

Organizational Structure: This role reports directly to the Chief Compliance Officer.

Role Summary: The Senior Vice President of Regulatory Oversight will spearhead GreenSky's compliance evaluation initiatives, ensuring adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and internal standards. This position entails directing the formulation, execution, and management of thorough compliance evaluation strategies, while also providing strategic direction and support to the compliance division.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Establish and manage GreenSky's compliance evaluation framework, ensuring it aligns with regulatory mandates and corporate policies.
  • Lead and mentor the compliance evaluation team, fostering professional growth and development.
  • Design and implement compliance evaluation methodologies to assess the efficacy of internal controls.
  • Conduct in-depth risk assessments to pinpoint potential compliance vulnerabilities and risks.
  • Formulate and execute annual compliance evaluation strategies, including the selection and prioritization of evaluation activities.
  • Analyze evaluation outcomes, identify patterns, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership and relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including Legal, Risk Management, and Internal Audit, to ensure a unified approach to compliance.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on compliance evaluation results for executive leadership and regulatory authorities.
  • Stay informed on regulatory developments, industry best practices, and emerging compliance challenges.
  • Promote a culture of compliance and ethical conduct throughout the organization.
Required Skills/Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related discipline; advanced degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or internal audit within the financial services sector.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and managing compliance evaluation programs.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to the financial technology sector.
  • Proficiency in compliance evaluation tools and software such as RSA Archer, MetricStream, SAP GRC, or similar platforms.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities with a strong attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all organizational levels.
  • Professional certifications such as CRCM, CCEP, or CAMS are highly desirable.
