About the Role

Adecco Canada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in a permanent full-time capacity. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients and creditors through various communication channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and creditors through inbound and outbound calls, emails, and voicemails.
  • Assist Clients: Help clients meet their payment commitments and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Process Transactions: Verify creditor balances and process transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Reporting and Administration: Complete monthly reports and perform administrative tasks to ensure accounts are serviced efficiently.
  • Schedule Appointments: Schedule credit counselling appointments for first-time callers and review appointments for existing clients.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date on current developments in the field of credit counselling and assume responsibility for professional growth.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management, including classifying inbound documents, responding to general inquiries, and assisting with outbound communications.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience providing high-quality customer service in a call centre, retail, or service-based environment.
  • Credit Industry Experience: Past work experience in the credit industry or financial services is an asset.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and strong command of the English language.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, impeccable time management, and ability to self-manage responsibilities.
  • Detail-Oriented: Extremely detail-oriented with proven organizational skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Relationship Building: Strong relationship building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Interest in Personal Finance: Strong interest in learning about personal finance and must be bondable.
