About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Barburrito. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budgeting and Cost Control

Develop and manage budgets to determine the cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies, ensuring that we maintain our high standards of quality and efficiency.

Operational Excellence

Evaluate and improve daily operations to ensure that our restaurants are running at optimal levels, with a focus on customer satisfaction and staff productivity.

Staff Supervision

Supervise and mentor our restaurant staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional customer service.

Inventory Management

Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that we have the right products in stock at the right time to meet customer demand.

Supplier Negotiations

Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, securing the best possible deals for Barburrito.

Customer Service

Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, providing a positive experience for our customers.

Business Development

Work with our management team to develop and implement new business initiatives, driving growth and profitability for Barburrito.

Requirements
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
