Position Overview:

As a Territory Sales Specialist, you will be an integral part of the Ontario Commercial team, reporting directly to one of our District Sales Managers. This role is focused on engaging with all retail clients within the designated territory, including various retail outlets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and nurture relationships with key customers, business partners, industry associations, and suppliers through a First Choice perspective.
  • Ensure exceptional execution by building rapport and maintaining product standards.
  • Negotiate for optimal space, placement, and pricing strategies for our products.
  • Install, replace, and update point-of-sale materials in alignment with brand strategy.
  • Ensure that Molson products are fully distributed according to compliance standards.
  • Conduct audits of planograms to verify compliance with head office guidelines.
  • Oversee effective merchandising, product rotation, and date code checks.
  • Collaborate with operators to communicate pricing and ensure adherence to strategy.
  • Monitor and report on competitive activities.
  • Maintain product quality in assigned accounts, addressing issues such as out-of-code products and damaged packaging.
  • Manage the shipping, receiving, and placement of all point-of-sale materials from the Molson Coors warehouse.

  • A post-secondary degree, preferably in Marketing or Business.
  • 1-2 years of experience in merchandising or sales within the consumer packaged goods sector.
  • A valid provincial driver's license in good standing without limitations or restrictions.
  • Willingness to undergo a criminal background check and provide a driver's abstract as part of the recruitment process.
