Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (40 hours)
Travel Requirements: 80% of time on the road; remaining time is remote.
Employment Type: Permanent, full-time
Sales Territory: Windsor and London

Under the guidance of the Business Development Manager, the Sales Specialist is tasked with expanding the market presence in Windsor and London for AIM Kenny U-Pull, focusing on the acquisition of used vehicles through recycling, wholesale, and retail channels. The role involves cultivating strong relationships with suppliers while actively pursuing new client opportunities.

The Sales Specialist collaborates closely with the call center and logistics teams to surpass purchasing objectives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Engaging potential clients and establishing a personal customer base (e.g., dealerships, garages, body shops, impound yards, auctions);
  • Fostering enduring relationships within the automotive and recycling sectors;
  • Conducting prospecting activities through in-person visits, phone calls, and email communications;
  • Negotiating favorable purchasing terms;
  • Maintaining effective communication with various departments.
Qualifications
  • Possess a postsecondary diploma;
  • Hold a valid G class driver's license with a clean driving record;
  • At least 5 years of experience in field sales and client prospecting;
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment;
  • Strong numerical and mental math capabilities;
  • Proven skills in relationship building;
  • Proficient in Office 365 applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
