Cook Job Description

Copper Hospitality Inc is seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, determining the size of food portions and costs, and maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.

Work Setting

This is a permanent position in a restaurant environment, requiring 40 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in the culinary industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Determine the size of food portions and costs
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in the culinary industry
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality
