Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Analyze operating costs and other data to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Develop and implement new cooking techniques and menu items to enhance the dining experience for our customers.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to prepare and serve high-quality food.
  • Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special events and functions, to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure that our kitchen is well-stocked and equipped to meet the demands of our customers.
  • Plan menus and ensure that food meets quality standards to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Recruit and hire staff to join our culinary team.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for our staff.
  • Supervise and manage kitchen staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and provide excellent customer service.
Working Conditions

The Executive Chef will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with a team of experienced chefs and kitchen staff. The successful candidate will be required to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and work in a physically demanding environment.
