Position Overview
This role is under the supervision of the Procurement Manager and involves engaging with a global team focused on transforming the mining sector for a more productive and sustainable future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide active support and collaborate with Front end Sales during the project bidding phase to enhance customer satisfaction and boost order intake.
  • Work within cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery, adherence to budget, and compliance with quality standards.
  • Establish and maintain a sustainable supply chain by identifying and selecting optimal suppliers through sourcing initiatives, audits, and aligning with our business strategy.
  • Ensure daily operations comply with Procurement and Logistics policies, processes, and guidelines.
  • Collaborate closely with the project team to define procurement strategies and plans concerning project materials and services.
  • Assist the project manager in drafting requests for proposals or contracts, evaluating submissions, and negotiating agreements to achieve cost efficiencies.
  • Conduct supplier visits at various project stages for quality assessments, timely deliveries, and adherence to project specifications.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in project procurement within procurement, supply chain management, or a related field, particularly in an industrial context with a complex product portfolio.
  • Technical education in electrical engineering complemented by further training in business administration, supply chain management, or project management.
  • Familiarity with procurement regulations, controls, and legal contracts.
  • Strong technical expertise in electrical equipment such as transformers, switchgears, e-houses, and Motor Control Centers (MCC).
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% for short business trips.
  • Proficient in SAP, SAP Ariba, MS Office, MS Teams, Salesforce, and Power BI.
