Key Responsibilities:- Purchasing and Procurement: Develop and implement purchasing strategies to meet the hospital's needs, including negotiating contracts with suppliers and managing vendor relationships.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the hospital's inventory levels, ensuring that stock is properly managed and that supplies are available when needed.
- Supply Chain Optimization: Analyze and improve supply chain processes to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and train a team of procurement staff, providing guidance and support to ensure successful execution of supply chain operations.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with suppliers, staff, and other stakeholders.
