Key Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Director of Procurement, you will spearhead the implementation of procurement strategies to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Your role will encompass:

Leadership and Management

  • Building collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders.

Procurement Management
Your duties will include:

  • Managing all procurement activities and developing effective purchasing strategies.
  • Monitoring supplier performance through KPIs to ensure quality and service standards.
  • Negotiating advantageous pricing and terms with suppliers.

Supply Chain Optimization
You will support the execution of supply chain operations, ensuring:

  • Efficient movement of products from vendors to warehouses.
  • Best practices in logistics and distribution.
  • Analysis and optimization of transportation costs.

Inventory Oversight
Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Analyzing inventory levels and ensuring alignment with company metrics.
  • Negotiating returns and exchanges with suppliers.
  • Identifying and managing obsolete inventory.

Data Integrity and Product Management
You will evaluate vendor performance and product offerings, ensuring:

  • Alignment with market conditions and company objectives.
  • Accurate maintenance of product data.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain and procurement roles.
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in Excel.
