Culinary Department Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Beacon Drive In Restaurant. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food preparation and service staff.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business decision-making.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Food Order Management: Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring that all orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
- Tray Assembly and Delivery: Supervise and check the assembly of trays, ensuring that they are presented to customers in a clean and appetizing manner.
- Food Trolley Delivery: Supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys, ensuring that all food is delivered to the correct location on time.
- Scheduling: Establish work schedules for staff, ensuring that we have adequate coverage during peak periods.
