Key Responsibilities

As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for executing menu item production with an emphasis on quality and presentation. This will involve preparing, pre-cooking, cooking, and presenting menu items in a timely fashion, following standardized recipes.

Additional Responsibilities
  • Prepare mis en place and other products as required for high volume production
  • Assist 3rd Cooks with product receipts, breakdown, storage, and rotation
  • Clean culinary equipment after use and/or remove soiled equipment to the dish pit
  • Assist with month-end inventories as directed
  • Attend monthly culinary meetings
  • Liaise and communicate effectively with all operational departments
  • Develop and cultivate strong working relationships with all stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations
Requirements

We are seeking a highly organized and reliable individual with a minimum of 4 years of progressive culinary experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. You must have a high school diploma and be able to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and statutory holidays.

You will also need to possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, be energetic and highly motivated, and have a demonstrated commitment to service excellence.

Work Environment

This role will be based in a regular kitchen environment, requiring standing and walking for long periods of time, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stretching, and bending.
