About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Pizza Pizza - Waterfront. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and service in our food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules, ensuring seamless execution of daily operations.

Supervise and Coordinate Food Preparation and Service

Oversee the activities of food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional customer experience.

Train and Develop Staff

Provide comprehensive training to staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring they are equipped to deliver outstanding service.

Quality Control and Reporting

Ensure that food and service meet our high quality control standards, preparing and submitting regular reports to management.

Culinary Knowledge and Expertise

Stay up-to-date with the latest culinary trends and techniques, applying this knowledge to enhance our menu offerings and customer experience.

Work Scheduling and Staff Management

Establish and manage work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet customer demand.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and high customer expectations.

Standing and Mobility

Stand for extended periods, with frequent movement between kitchen and service areas.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education and Experience

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related role.

Leadership and Communication Skills

Excellent oral communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff.

Teamwork and Flexibility

Strong teamwork and flexibility, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and demands.
