Position Overview

As a Culinary Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the food service operations, ensuring that our culinary offerings meet the highest standards of quality and consistency. Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the culinary production of healthy, hot, and cold food stations.
  • Develop and standardize recipes to ensure consistency in food quality.
  • Plan weekly menus utilizing our PRIMA database.
  • Establish presentation techniques and maintain quality standards while planning and pricing menus.
  • Estimate food consumption and manage food and labor costs effectively.
  • Conduct inventory management, place orders, and oversee deliveries.
  • Train and manage back-of-house kitchen staff, coordinating all culinary activities.
  • Ensure proper operation and maintenance of kitchen equipment, adhering to safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of culinary experience with a proven track record of career progression.
  • 1-2 years of experience in staff management, including training and conflict resolution.
  • Experience in a unionized environment is advantageous.
  • In-depth knowledge of culinary principles and practices.
  • Strong communication skills with clients, customers, and team members.
