About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Culinary Consultant to join our team at Moehnke Training Academy. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing new menu concepts that showcase our commitment to quality and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to create innovative and appealing menu options that cater to diverse tastes and dietary preferences.
  2. Food Preparation Guidance: Provide expert guidance on food preparation techniques, ingredient sourcing, and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence in our culinary offerings.
  3. Quality Control: Establish and maintain the highest standards of food quality, safety, and hygiene in our kitchen operations.
  4. Team Training: Train and mentor our kitchen staff on new menu items, ensuring they understand and can execute the dishes to perfection.
  5. Inventory Management: Advise on inventory management practices to ensure the freshness and availability of all ingredients, particularly local and seasonal items.
  6. Customer Interaction: Engage with customers to gather feedback on our menu offerings and make adjustments as needed to enhance the dining experience.
  7. Cost Management: Develop strategies to maximize profitability while maintaining high-quality standards for our culinary offerings.
  8. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and restaurant policies.

Requirements:

  1. Experience as a Culinary Consultant, Executive Chef, or similar role in a high-end restaurant.
  2. Extensive knowledge of comfort food and sushi preparation techniques.
  3. Strong leadership and team training skills.
  4. Excellent creativity and a passion for culinary innovation, particularly with local and seasonal ingredients.
  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  6. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  7. Strong communication skills.
  8. A culinary degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
