Key Responsibilities


• Oversee culinary production for our healthy, hot, and cold food stations

• Develop and standardize recipes to ensure consistency in food quality

• Manage weekly menu planning utilizing our recipe database

• Establish quality standards and presentation techniques; plan and price menus

• Forecast food consumption and manage budgets for food and labor costs

• Conduct inventory management, order supplies, and reconcile deliveries

• Train and supervise kitchen staff, coordinating all culinary activities

• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of kitchen equipment; uphold safety and sanitation standards

Qualifications


• Required: Post-secondary education in Culinary Arts or Hospitality, or equivalent experience

• 3-5 years of culinary experience with a proven track record of career progression

• 1-2 years of experience in staff management, including training and conflict resolution

• Experience in a unionized setting is advantageous

• Advanced understanding of food service principles and practices

• Strong communication skills with clients, customers, and team members

• Requires comprehensive knowledge of the food service industry
