Position Overview

The Bakery Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the bakery department, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety.

Education Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Equivalent experience in a related field is acceptable
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the requisition and ordering of materials, equipment, and supplies
  • Provide training to staff on food preparation, cooking techniques, and safe food handling
  • Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations
  • Develop staff schedules to meet operational needs
  • Organize and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Track and maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory levels
  • Order food and kitchen supplies as necessary
Work Environment
  • Must possess strong attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Manual dexterity is required for various tasks
  • Position may be physically demanding
