Job Overview:
The Manufacturing Operations Supervisor is essential to overseeing the production and supply chain management within the commercial bakery sector. This role involves supervising and coordinating production processes across all stages at the CT Bakery facility, ensuring that production goals align with efficiency, safety, and quality standards by adhering to GMP regulations and the company’s established SOPs, SSOPs, and operational guidelines. Fostering a collaborative team environment among line employees is a key aspect of this position.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Oversee and coordinate production tasks throughout all processing phases
· Ensure production efficiency and compliance with safety and quality benchmarks by following GMP regulations and company protocols
· Organize workflow by assigning tasks and creating schedules
· Facilitate onboarding and training for new hires, including health and safety orientation
· Guarantee that products consistently meet CT Bakery's safety and quality standards
· Assess employee performance, offer constructive feedback, and implement necessary improvements
· Collaborate with various departments to synchronize production efforts and address any arising challenges
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related discipline
· Demonstrated experience as a Production Supervisor or in a comparable role within a manufacturing setting
· Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement strategies
· Strong leadership and personnel management capabilities
· Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
· Comprehensive knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and JHSC standards
· Proficient in MS Office applications
· Flexibility to work varied schedules as required
