Position Overview

The Bakery Supervisor at BREAD & ROSES BAKERY CAFE plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our baking team. This position requires a blend of leadership, culinary expertise, and a commitment to quality.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare various doughs for breads, pastries, and other baked goods, following established recipes or specific customer requests.
  • Manage inventory by requisitioning or ordering necessary materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Oversee the baking process for mixed doughs and batters.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of baking staff and kitchen personnel.
  • Provide training and guidance to new staff members.
  • Ensure that all products meet the highest quality standards.
  • Conduct inspections of the kitchen and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and safety.
  • Operate and maintain baking machinery and equipment.
  • Manage the sales and merchandising of baked products.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Must possess strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good hand-eye coordination is essential.
  • Capable of handling heavy loads and performing physically demanding tasks.
