The Bakery Supervisor at BREAD & ROSES BAKERY CAFE plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our baking department. This position requires a dedicated individual with a passion for baking and a commitment to quality.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in a supervisory role within a bakery or food service environment
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare various doughs for a range of baked goods including pies, bread, rolls, and pastries, adhering to established recipes or special customer requests.
  • Manage inventory by requisitioning or ordering necessary materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Oversee the baking process of mixed doughs and batters to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Supervise and guide baking staff and kitchen personnel to maintain high standards of production.
  • Conduct training sessions for new staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure that all products meet established quality standards through regular inspections.
  • Operate and maintain baking machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Manage the sales and merchandising of baked goods to maximize customer satisfaction.
Work Environment
