About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Marlow Properties (B.C.) Inc. as a key member of our restaurant operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations in our restaurant setting.

Supervise and Coordinate Staff

Oversee and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional customer service and quality food products.

Train and Develop Staff

Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Inventory Management

Estimate and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, minimizing waste and ensuring optimal stock levels.

Quality Control and Customer Service

Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.

Administrative Tasks

Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth and improvement.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Work setting: Restaurant, Hotel, Motel, or Resort
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
