About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Alirang Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff to achieve our high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and train a team of 3-4 staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
    • Establish and maintain effective communication with staff, management, and customers to ensure a positive and efficient work environment.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Develop and implement efficient systems and procedures to manage stock, supplies, and inventory.
    • Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and other expenses to ensure profitability.
    • Maintain accurate records of sales, stock, and other relevant data to inform business decisions.
  • Customer Service and Quality Control
    • Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
    • Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Team Development and Training
    • Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
    • Provide regular feedback and coaching to staff to improve performance and achieve goals.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • Experience in a restaurant or food service environment, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
  • Skills and Qualities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
    • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, standing for extended periods and maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
