About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Alirang Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff to achieve our high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and train a team of 3-4 staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
    • Establish and maintain effective communication with staff, ensuring that everyone is aware of their roles and responsibilities.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customers receive a high level of service, responding promptly to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
    • Monitor customer feedback and use it to improve our services and menu offerings.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including inventory management, stock control, and maintenance of equipment and facilities.
    • Ensure that all health and safety procedures are followed, and that the restaurant is maintained in a clean and hygienic condition.
  • Performance Management
    • Monitor staff performance and provide feedback and coaching to help them improve their skills and knowledge.
    • Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to improve efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • Experience in a similar role, preferably in the food service industry.
  • Skills and Qualities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Strong leadership and management skills.
    • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene procedures.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods and maintaining a high level of attention to detail. They will also be required to work a 36-40 hour week, with flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
