Pastry Chef

Rashmi's Bakery is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team. As a Pastry Chef at Rashmi's Bakery, you will be responsible for creating high-quality pastries, cakes, and other baked goods that meet our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recipe Development: Develop and implement new recipes for pastries, cakes, and other baked goods, ensuring that they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Bakery Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the bakery, including managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of pastry chefs and bakery assistants, providing guidance and support to ensure that they meet their responsibilities and contribute to the success of the bakery.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet our high standards of quality and presentation, conducting regular quality control checks to identify and address any issues.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Ability to distinguish between colors, attention to detail, and physical stamina to stand for extended periods.
  • Personal Qualities: Dependability, reliability, and ability to work as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, lifting, and carrying heavy objects.
Language and Work Schedule:
  • Language: English is the primary language of work.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 44 hours per week.
