Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled and bilingual HR Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you'll be responsible for providing administrative support, managing employee data, and ensuring compliance with employment legislation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment and Onboarding
    • Coordinate and facilitate the recruitment process, including scheduling interviews and conducting background checks
    • Prepare and distribute employment contracts, and ensure all necessary documentation is completed
    • Develop and implement onboarding programs to ensure a smooth transition for new employees
  • HR System Administration
    • Manage and maintain employee data in our HRIS system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with employment legislation
    • Develop and implement reports and analytics to support business decisions
    • Provide training and support to employees on HR systems and processes
  • Employee Relations
    • Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters, including employment standards, benefits, and leave
    • Develop and implement employee recognition and engagement programs
    • Collaborate with management to resolve employee conflicts and concerns
  • Compensation and Benefits
    • Administer and maintain employee compensation and benefits programs, including salary increases and bonuses
    • Develop and implement benefits programs to support employee well-being
    • Provide guidance and support to employees on compensation and benefits-related matters
  • HR Communications
    • Develop and implement internal communications to keep employees informed about HR-related matters
    • Provide training and support to employees on HR policies and procedures
    • Collaborate with management to develop and implement employee engagement strategies

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • Diploma in Human Resources or related field
    • 1-2 years of experience in HR administration, preferably in a bilingual environment
  • Language Skills
    • Fluent in English and French, both written and verbal
  • Technical Skills
    • Proficient in HRIS systems, including Dayforce
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Soft Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
