Restaurant Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Insomnia Restaurant & Lounge. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring that all aspects of the business are running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Management
- Analyze financial reports to identify areas for cost reduction and implement strategies to increase revenue.
- Develop and manage budgets to ensure that the restaurant is operating within its financial means.
- Staff Management
- Recruit, train, and supervise a team of staff members to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Monitor staff performance and provide feedback and coaching to improve their skills and productivity.
- Customer Service
- Ensure that all customers receive excellent service and that their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Operations Management
- Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, including food preparation, inventory management, and maintenance of the restaurant's facilities.
- Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed and that the restaurant is in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Education
- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
- Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to multitask.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of staff members.
The Restaurant Manager will work in a fast-paced environment and will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends. The position requires a high level of physical activity and the ability to lift heavy objects.
