About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Manager to join our team at Positano Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate Daily Operations: Conduct regular assessments of our restaurant's daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Menu Planning and Pricing: Work with our culinary team to develop and implement menu plans that meet our budget and quality standards.
  • Staff Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate the performance of our staff, providing feedback and coaching to ensure that they are meeting our expectations.
  • Daily Operations Planning: Plan and organize the daily operations of our restaurant, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and customer service.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and support our staff, ensuring that they have the resources and training they need to succeed.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the management of our inventory, ensuring that we have the necessary supplies and materials to meet our operational needs.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that our restaurant meets all health and safety regulations, including food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Negotiations: Negotiate with clients for catering or use of our facilities, ensuring that we meet their needs and exceed their expectations.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a strong understanding of restaurant operations and management principles is essential.
  • Supervision: 3-4 people.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, organized, and ability to multitask.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
