Human Resources Director

We are seeking a seasoned Human Resources Manager to join our client's team at a well-established boutique law firm in downtown Vancouver. As a key member of the firm's management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the HR function, acting as a liaison and facilitator for various departments and stakeholders, and supporting the firm's Partners in their day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the employee lifecycle, including full-cycle recruitment and selection, onboarding, performance management, benefits administration, and terminations.
- Administer firm policies and procedures, and update them as required in accordance with Employment Standards.
- Run payroll in collaboration with the Finance Director.
- Assist Partners and the Finance Director with day-to-day operations of the firm.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive management experience within a law firm.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and conflict resolution capabilities.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Open and flexible attitude.
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources Management or a related field is considered an asset.
