Your primary responsibilities will include:

* Overseeing the operations of HR and employee relations services, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of services.
* Formulating, implementing, and evaluating strategies to deliver leading practice HR service model to meet the current and future needs of your portfolio and VCH organizational objectives.
* Providing expert advice and consultation to senior leadership regarding human resource and employee relations issues.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of human resource professionals. You will also have a strong understanding of integrated human resources services, health sector labour relations, and arbitration processes.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Develop and implement HR strategies to support the achievement of VCH's strategic objectives.
* Provide leadership and guidance to a team of human resource professionals, including performance evaluations, recruitment, and discipline decisions.
* Collaborate with internal partners, such as Talent Acquisition, People Health Safety & Wellness, Labour Relations, and clinical operations, to ensure effective service delivery.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external partners to promote and enhance services provided.

**Qualifications:**

* Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Health Administration, plus ten (10) years' recent, relevant, progressive leadership experience in a large multi-union organization.
* Comprehensive knowledge of integrated human resources services, health sector labour relations, and arbitration processes.
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of human resource professionals.
