Position Overview:

The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) plays a crucial role in engaging with our existing client base to assist the external sales team in promoting our range of products and services through effective verbal and written communication. The ISR's primary focus will be on broadening our product offerings by employing successful sales techniques and meaningful conversations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Promoting new or existing products, generating leads, and driving revenue growth within assigned accounts.
  • Conducting outreach to potential customers who have not previously engaged with our offerings.
  • Gathering insights and identifying opportunities for assigned accounts while addressing customer inquiries.

We are seeking two full-time, hybrid roles that will report to the VP of Sales. The ISR will receive a competitive base salary along with performance incentives.

Sales Development Responsibilities:

  • Implement business strategies for priority products in targeted therapeutic areas.
  • Follow up on leads generated from marketing initiatives and online platforms.
  • Maintain comprehensive product and customer information using our CRM system.
  • Identify key decision-makers and develop strategies to initiate contact and generate additional business.
  • Qualify potential business opportunities by engaging with customers and passing warm leads to local representatives.
  • Foster strong customer relationships and continuously track prospects throughout the sales process within the CRM.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and follow up on marketing outreach.
  • Build rapport with customers through phone and online interactions.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of Labtician and recommend suitable products/services.
  • Identify sales opportunities and work towards achieving sales targets.

One of the ISRs will also provide support to our Customer Service Specialist, dedicating approximately 20% of their time to frontline customer support and order processing:

  • Assist with customer service inquiries and enter orders received via various channels into Labtician's ERP system.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve product and service-related issues.

Qualifications:

  • A University degree is required.
  • Experience in inside sales or a sales-oriented mindset is essential.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French is mandatory.
  • Proven track record in sales or customer service is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong listening abilities.
  • People-oriented with experience in building rapport.
  • Basic knowledge of CRM systems and Microsoft software is advantageous.
  • A quick learner with the ability to acquire product and industry knowledge rapidly.
  • Strong time management skills are essential.
