Insurance Account Representative - Mathew Smith - Desjardins Agent Intern
Position Overview:
Are you a personable individual with a passion for customer service? If you thrive in a dynamic environment and enjoy engaging with clients, this opportunity with a Desjardins Agent may be the right fit for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate leads, arrange meetings, assess client needs, and promote suitable insurance products and services.
- Deliver timely, precise, and courteous customer support. This includes addressing inquiries about insurance options, eligibility, coverage details, policy modifications, claims processing, and billing inquiries.
- Collaborate with the agent to set and achieve marketing objectives.
Qualifications:
- Preferred experience in sales (including outside sales, inside sales representative roles, retail sales, or telemarketing).
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal abilities.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Capability to present information to prospective clients.
- Property & Casualty license is preferred (must be obtained).
- Fluency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese is advantageous.
Successful candidates will undergo training and licensing with The Personal Insurance Company for a designated period. Upon successful completion, candidates may be considered for a role with an independent contractor Desjardins Agent.
