Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Scientific Liaison to join our team in Canada. As a key member of our organization, you will provide scientific support to our field-based salesforce, develop and maintain professional relationships with key opinion leaders, and contribute to the advancement of dermatology research.

Responsibilities
  • Provide scientific support to the field-based salesforce, including non-promotional trainings, education, and presentations.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with key opinion leaders and academic centers to ensure access to current medical and scientific information.
  • Deliver credible scientific and medical presentations to physicians, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Identify and develop contact with local, regional, and national key opinion leaders and experts through internally approved field engagement plans.
  • Contribute to the identification of physicians, investigators, healthcare providers, and administrative stakeholders requiring support from the Medical Scientific Liaison.
  • Provide field-based support to assist Medical Information in dealing with enquiries.
  • Maintain knowledge and awareness of clinical research and publications in the dermatology and aesthetics fields.
  • Act as an internal scientific expert for Galderma's integrated dermatology products and areas of interest.
  • Gather and generate actionable insights through attending congresses, engaging with external stakeholders, and tracking influencers on social media.
  • Support Galderma research by identifying investigators, undertaking scientific exchange, and providing feedback and insight to medical and clinical teams.
Requirements
  • Medical, Pharmacy, or higher degree qualification in a relevant life sciences field.
  • Dermatology/Immunology-Biologics experience.
  • Proven several years of related medical and/or research and development experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical devices industry.
  • Demonstrable experience of developing and presenting scientific/medical content at various levels.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Meeting planning and facilitation skills and ability to interface effectively with technical platforms.
  • Bilingual.
