Position Overview
The role of the Medical Scientific Liaison is vital, acting as a key internal expert to provide field-based scientific and clinical support to healthcare professionals. This position is crucial for maintaining a high level of medical, scientific, and technical knowledge in Dermatology and Aesthetics.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver scientific support to the sales team, serving as a credible partner through non-promotional training, education, and presentations.
- Establish and nurture professional relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and academic institutions to ensure access to current medical and scientific insights.
- Maintain and disseminate comprehensive knowledge of Dermatology and skin disorders.
- Provide credible scientific and medical presentations to healthcare providers and other stakeholders as required.
- Identify and engage with local, regional, and national KOLs and experts through approved field engagement strategies.
- Support Medical Information in addressing inquiries and maintaining awareness of clinical research and publications in Dermatology and Aesthetics.
- Act as an internal scientific authority for Galderma's integrated dermatology products, facilitating training for external speakers and internal teams.
- Gather actionable insights by attending congresses, engaging with external stakeholders, and staying updated on relevant scientific literature.
- Assist Galderma's research initiatives by identifying investigators and providing valuable feedback to medical and clinical teams.
- Respond to unsolicited requests for medical and scientific information.
Qualifications
- Medical, Pharmacy, or higher degree qualification (e.g., MSc, PhD) in a relevant life sciences discipline.
- Experience in Dermatology and Immunology-Biologics.
- Several years of relevant medical and/or research and development experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical devices industry.
- Proven ability to develop and present scientific and medical content to various audiences, including clinical peers and senior professionals.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in meeting planning and facilitation, with the ability to effectively use various technical platforms.
- Bilingual proficiency.
