The Medical Science Liaison plays a crucial role as an internal expert, delivering field-based scientific and clinical support to healthcare professionals, ensuring a high level of medical, scientific, and technical knowledge in Dermatology & Immunology.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide scientific support to the sales team, acting as a reliable partner to address their immediate needs through educational sessions, presentations, and other forms of engagement.
- Establish and nurture professional relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and academic institutions to ensure access to up-to-date medical and scientific information in therapeutic areas.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of Dermatology and skin disorders.
- Deliver credible scientific and medical presentations to healthcare providers and other stakeholders as required.
- Identify and engage with local, regional, and national key opinion leaders and experts through approved field engagement strategies.
- Support the identification of healthcare providers and stakeholders requiring assistance from the medical science liaison, aiming to enhance the diversity of our KOLs and HCPs.
- Assist Medical Information in addressing inquiries through field-based support.
- Stay informed about clinical research and publications in Dermatology and Aesthetics.
- Serve as an internal scientific authority for Galderma's integrated dermatology products, effectively communicating scientific insights to both internal and external audiences.
- Gather and generate actionable insights by attending conferences, engaging with external stakeholders, and analyzing relevant scientific literature.
- Support Galderma's research initiatives by identifying investigators and facilitating scientific exchanges.
- Respond to unsolicited requests for medical and scientific information.
Minimum Qualifications
- Medical, Pharmacy, or advanced degree (e.g., MSc, PhD) in a relevant life sciences discipline.
- Experience in Dermatology and Immunology-Biologics.
- Several years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical devices sectors.
- Proven ability to develop and present scientific content to various audiences, including clinical peers and senior professionals.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in meeting planning and facilitation, with proficiency in various technical platforms.
- Bilingual proficiency.
