About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Manager of Rehabilitation Services, the Recreation Therapy Associate will provide essential support to clients and families through recreation interventions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering interventions to groups or individuals in various healthcare settings
  • Working with individuals with physical and cognitive disabilities to promote independence and well-being
  • Assisting in the development of recreation programs that cater to diverse client needs
  • Utilizing effective communication and motivation skills to engage clients and promote positive outcomes
  • Working collaboratively with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care

Competencies in French are an asset. Applicants should possess a post-secondary diploma in Therapeutic Recreation or a related field, BLS-C certification, and experience working in a healthcare setting.
