Your Role

Our offices are seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Financial Reporting & Insights team, responsible for the following:

  • Overseeing review and compilation engagements, along with corporate tax filings for clients across various sectors and non-profit organizations.
  • Developing strong working relationships with client representatives and effectively addressing their requests.
  • Completing trust returns and preparing associated working papers.
  • Coordinating tax assignments, including the preparation of tax returns (T2s, T4s, T5s, GST/HST), and collaborating with the tax department to ensure all inquiries are resolved and deadlines are adhered to.
  • Documenting all significant engagement matters and keeping the Manager/Partner informed of engagement progress.
  • Following up with relevant government agencies regarding payroll inquiries, assessments, GST, HST, and business numbers.

Required Experience and Qualifications

  • You have achieved your CPA designation.
  • You bring a minimum of 5+ years of experience in private enterprise within the public accounting sector, including at least 1+ years in a management capacity.
  • You possess extensive knowledge related to IFRS and ASPE files.
  • You value teamwork, client service, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • You demonstrate strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication abilities.
