Your Opportunity

Our Financial Reporting & Insights team is seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Senior Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading review and compilation engagements, corporate tax returns, and trust returns for clients in various industries, including private enterprises and non-profit organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead review and compilation engagements, including corporate tax returns and trust returns, for clients in various industries.
  • Build effective working relationships with client contacts and respond to client requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate tax assignments, including preparation of tax returns (T2s, T4s, T5s, GST/HST), and ensure queries are cleared and deadlines are met.
  • Document and communicate significant engagement matters to the Manager/Partner and keep them informed of engagement progress.
  • Follow up with government agencies on questions relating to payroll, assessments, GST, HST, and business numbers.

Your Experience and Education

  • You have completed your CPA designation.
  • You have at least 5+ years of private enterprise experience in the public accounting industry, with at least 1+ year at the management level.
  • You have in-depth experience with IFRS and ASPE files.
  • You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work.
  • You possess strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
