Your Opportunity

Our Financial Reporting & Insights team is seeking a Senior Manager to lead review and compilation engagements, in addition to corporate tax returns for clients in a variety of businesses and non-profit enterprises. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading review and compilation engagements, including corporate tax returns for clients in various industries and non-profit organizations
  • Building effective working relationships with client contacts and responding effectively to client requests
  • Completing trust returns and trust working papers
  • Coordinating tax assignments, including preparation of tax returns (T2s, T4s, T5s, GST/HST), and ensuring queries are cleared and deadlines are met
  • Ensuring all significant engagement matters are documented and brought to the attention of the Manager/Partner, as well as keeping them informed of the progress of the engagement
  • Following-up with government agencies on questions relating to payroll, assessments, GST, HST, business numbers

Your Experience and Education

We are seeking a candidate with:

  • Completed CPA designation
  • At least 5+ years of private enterprise experience in the public accounting industry, with at least 1+ year at the management level
  • In-depth experience with IFRS and ASPE files
  • Value for teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
