Your Opportunity

Our Financial Reporting & Insights team is seeking a Senior Manager to lead review and compilation engagements, corporate tax returns, and trust returns for clients in various industries, including private enterprises and non-profit organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead review and compilation engagements, including corporate tax returns and trust returns, for clients in various industries.
  • Build effective working relationships with client contacts and respond to client requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate tax assignments, including preparation of tax returns and coordination with the tax department to ensure queries are cleared and deadlines are met.
  • Ensure that all significant engagement matters are documented and brought to the attention of the Manager/Partner, and keep them informed of the progress of the engagement.
  • Follow-up with government agencies on questions relating to payroll, assessments, GST, HST, and business numbers.

Your Experience and Education

  • You have completed your CPA designation.
  • You have at least 5+ years of private enterprise experience in the public accounting industry, with at least 1+ year at the management level.
  • You have in-depth experience with IFRS and ASPE files.
  • You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work.
  • You display strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
