Position Overview:

Reporting to the Finance Director, the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager is tasked with delivering financial insights and strategic planning to the business unit. The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager ensures financial transparency and direction to the business unit, enabling the identification of risks and opportunities for informed decision-making regarding financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Directs and orchestrates the financial planning and budgeting activities, encompassing Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and CAPEX Planning processes Oversees monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting at the business unit level, providing support for corporate reporting Engages in the strategic planning efforts for the business by developing financial models and metrics to evaluate annual strategic initiatives Incorporates analytical methodologies into the business for informed decision-making and educates key stakeholders on enhancing financial performance Assists in the preparation of presentations for operational and business reviews, as well as forecast and planning review meetings Manages and monitors the CAPEX budget, collaborating with project leads to ensure timely execution and addressing any budget deviations Responsible for reconciling the Construction in Process (CIP) account, ensuring it is current with the progress and execution of CAPEX projects Anticipates travel requirements of up to 10% Performs additional duties as assignedIdeal Candidate Profile:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (Accounting or Finance) is mandatory Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, modeling financial scenarios and forecasting financial variables, including analysis and evaluation of business operations Experience in a manufacturing context is preferred Familiarity with JD Edwards is advantageous; experience with any major ERP system is essential Proficient in Excel and Access database Must be able to sit, stand, walk regularly, and occasionally lift up to 15 poundsWhy Consider Catalent:
