Your Role
Our Sarnia office is seeking a Manager to take charge of the Financial Reporting & Insights team, with the following key responsibilities:
- Review non-assurance engagements for private clients to ensure compliance with relevant professional standards and Firm policies.
- Efficiently plan, oversee, and execute non-assurance engagements.
- Supervise (and complete when necessary) the preparation of working paper files, financial statements, and corporate and personal tax returns.
- Cultivate a portfolio of new clients and explore business opportunities with existing clients on an ongoing basis.
- Address client concerns promptly, adhering to BDO Policy while leveraging your strong technical skills and accounting expertise.
- Utilize appropriate industry knowledge to anticipate, identify, and resolve issues pertinent to the client's business.

Required Experience and Education
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the public accounting sector, including at least 1 year in a management capacity.
- Completion of your CPA is preferred, though not mandatory.
- Relevant experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and QuickBooks Online.
- Act as a leader within the Firm, consistently focused on employee engagement.
- You value teamwork, client service, and precision in detailed work.
- You demonstrate strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication abilities.
